Azania Dungee (Woman #1)
Azania is happy to be working with Tantra Entertainment and Rasa DC for the first time on this unique play. DC area credits: Much Ado About Nothing (U/S, Folger Shakespeare Theater), Portraits in Black and White (ArtSpace), It's Not Easy Being Green (Journeymen Theater), How Old is a Hero and African Roots, Latina Soul (Discovery Theater). Jameson Freeman (Man #2)
Performance and self-expression have been central to Jameson since he was a kid. Jameson was dancing ballet from a young age, enrolling with the Nutmeg Academy in Torrington, CT at age 7, and was part of numerous youth theatre productions and acting groups growing up. Since moving to the district – where he attended American University – he has been featured in a number of student and independent film productions, music videos, as well as other artistic and editorial projects in D.C., Philadelphia, and NYC. He is very excited to share is 'first time' with you, as this is his first stage production in Washington! Nick Hanson (Man #1)
An up-and-coming performing artist from Manassas, Virginia, Nick Hanson is very excited to be a part of My First Time in Washington, D.C. After performing in the Capital Fringe Festival this past summer, his love for theatre has been renewed, and can't wait to return to the stage. In addition to his work on stage, Nick is also actively pursuing a career in film and television.
Nick would like to thank his Mom and his friends for being so supportive of him while he chases his dreams.
And no, Nick is NOT a virgin.
Victoria Reinsel
Victoria is thrilled to make her D.C. debut with Rasa and Tantra Entertainment. Favorite past credits include: Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Lavinia in Titus Andronicus, Anne Page/William Page/Rugby in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Lady Mortimer/Peto in 1 Henry IV, Cloris/Pallas/Luna in The Rehearsal, First Fairy in A Midsummer Night's Dream (American Shakespeare Center); Marina in Pericles (Mary Baldwin College MFA production, directed by Tina Packer); Caliban/Ferdinand/Antonio in The Tempest (University Wits regional tour); Henry VI's Consciousness in Hal Harry Henry (Shakespeare East). Victoria holds a MFA and M.Litt. from Mary Baldwin College in partnership with the American Shakespeare Center and a BA from Marlboro College. She has trained at Shakespeare & Co., Orlando Shakespeare, and the British-American Drama Academy.

Arpita Mukherjee (Director)
When teachers were trying to drill mathematic tables into her head, Arpita was dancing in her living room to Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen. She quickly forayed into dancing lessons that continued well into her 20s, culminating in a dance education that includes Kathak, Odissi and contemporary technique. She has also written, directed, and produced plays around the metropolitan area. Interested in all modes of expression and in the diversity of contemporary voices, Arpita is a student of the world. Kabir Altaf (Assistant Director)
This is Kabir's first show with Rasa Arts Collective and he is delighted to work with such a great team. Kabir graduated from George Washington University in 2009 with a B.A. in Dramatic Literature. He has been involved in theatre since elementary school, mostly as an actor. Most recent roles include Belize in Angels in America (GWU 2008) and Fagin in Oliver! (International School of Islamabad 2004). Aside from theatre, Kabir has also studied Hindustani Classical Vocal for many years and won awards in many competitions.
Priyanka Basa (Production Assistant)
Priyanka is currently working at the NIH in Bethesda. Priyanka brings to Rasa a love for the arts, obsessive organizational skills and an enthusiasm for learning the artistic process. She is influenced by an older brother who is heavily involved in theatre. Other theatre experience includes assistant directing Love Times Seven: A Bollywood Musical, Rasa's debut theatre production.
Devin Day (Stage Manager)
This is Devin's first production with Rasa and Tantra Entertainment. Other stage management work includes Chaos Theory for Rasa Arts Collective, Be Here Now for Pinky Swear Productions at the 2010 Capital Fringe Festival, Romeo and Juliet, The Heiress and Oleanna at the University of Mary Washington. She graduated from UMW with a B.A. in Theatre in 2010.
John Shryock (Technical Director)
John is a freelance designer in the DC metro area. John worked with Rasa DC on their inaugural production, Love Times Seven: A Bollywood Musical, and is happy to be designing their two fall shows.
